Services for Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Darnell, 46, of Rowlett, were held, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home in Grand Saline. Interment was at Sand Flat Cemetery. Mr. Darnell passed away January 27, 2024, at his home in Rowlett.

He was born June 26, 1977, in Dallas, to Jimmy Odell & Judith Campbell Darnell. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School, Class of 1996. Jeffrey spent most of his life in the Dallas area, the last 16 years in Rowlett, and worked for Firestone Tires and NTB.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fairis and Alma Darnell, and Edwin and Ellen Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Michelle Darnell of Rowlett; parents, Jimmy and Judy Darnell of Grand Saline; son, Gage Michael Darnell of Rowlett; brother, Michael James Darnell, and wife, Alison, of Rockwall; niece, Kaleigh Darnell, nephew, Kade Darnell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The pallbearers were Jonathan Darnell, Kade Darnell, Michael Darnell, Todd Harris, Chris Sleeper, and Ryan Moore.
